Standing up a drone program involves far more than buying hardware. Operational planning, pilot training, regulatory approvals and ongoing risk assessment all have to work together.
Sky Command Aviation guides organizations through every stage of drone program development, from initial concept to fully certified, compliant operations.
Stage 1: define the mission
Start with the problem you want to solve. Which sites, which data, how often and with what accuracy? Clear answers drive every later decision, from aircraft selection to crew size.
Stage 2: design the program
Document how missions will be planned, authorized and flown. Define roles, risk controls, emergency procedures and record-keeping. This is also where you decide whether to build capability in-house, outsource, or combine both.
Stage 3: approvals and training
Confirm what authorizations your operations need and prepare the documentation early; approvals often take longer than the hardware does to arrive. Train and assess your crews against the procedures you have written.
Stage 4: operate, review, improve
Run missions, capture lessons and audit your own practice. A program that reviews itself regularly is far easier to defend to a regulator, and far safer, than one that is only reviewed after a problem.
